I snapped this in JTNP, in 2007. When I was there in 2012, I didn’t see this particular tree. I did look for it; may have missed it, it may be dead and gone. Five years is a pretty big gap of time.
This year the Joshua trees are blooming like mad. And I can’t go see them, because I’m broke and can’t afford a ticket. *shakes fist*
